Cat Christmas gift guide

Even though cats can be notoriously picky, we still want to include them in the spirit of giving this Christmas! Whether your cat is active or docile, confident or timid, inquisitive or totally-not-bothered about what’s in front of them, we’ve come up with six fun gifts that you could give to your feline friend this holiday season.
Cattitude Box
The Cattitude Box is a subscription box for all the cat lovers out there. It’s a great way to pamper both you and your cat every month, packed full of un-fur-gettable goodies from independent shops and artists. Cattitude also donates a portion of their profits to cat shelters and rescues, so when you make a purchase you are helping to support the wellbeing of less fortunate kitties.
This subscription service is offered on a one-off, monthly, three-monthly or six-monthly basis, with a different goodie box provided every month to surprise you and your furry friend. Some of the items received in last month’s box included catnip treats, calming cat treats and toys for cats, and for their human, a facemask, yummy treats, a fruit tea box and cat origami to provide time for cat owners to relax and unwind.
Their most recent box is called “Meowy & Bright” which includes a mix of festive goodies for you and your cat to share! A truly delightful gift which would make a fab Christmas present for cat parents.
Cacao Pets Cardboard Cat Houses
A brilliantly unique gift to provide endless fun and exploration for inquisitive cats. Cacao makes all of their unique designs by hand with 100% recyclable, sturdy corrugated cardboard. It takes around an hour to assemble with a visual instruction booklet contained within the pack and can also be easily disassembled to save some space where necessary.
Why not involve all the family in this assembling activity? It can even be painted or drawn on to personalise it. Just make sure children are supervised when putting it together, as the plastic screws can be quite fiddly.
We had lots of fun assembling the Tank House, and the pictures don’t do it justice as it’s a lot bigger than it looks! Smartie, a 17 year old Moggie, took to the cat house instantly and didn’t want to come out – one very happy cat, who is now officially enlisted in the Royal Tank Regiment.
Catnip Hamper for Cats
Beautifully wrapped in recycled cardboard, this would be an ideal gift for those catnip-loving kitties.

Calming Cat Bed
This extra soft marshmallow Calming Cat Bed provides comfort, warmth, and security to help calm nervous cats. It is washing machine and dryer-safe to help minimise odours and excess hair.
Dreamies Stocking
Cats will often come running to the sound of the Dreamies packet being shaken, so what better than to give a stocking full of them?
Cat Scratch Turntable
One for the music lovers – this hilarious scratchpad will provide fun for hours on end!
So, there you have it – some wonderfully unique ideas for cat gifts! What do you think you will get your cat this Christmas? Let us know on our Facebook or Twitter page.
